The months have gone by. The weather stayed cold. The snow tried but with no success. So when the weather took a dip, I was hopeful. It looked partically hopeful when I was due to be up North during this weather but it was not to happen. Within 24 hours of leaving London, Liverpool warms...

Bev decided to surprise me with a weekend away to north Wales – and then promptly tell me that she was going to surprise me, thus ruining the surprise. We stayed in a little hotel in a place I cannot pronounce that was situated on a small river. It was amazingly beautiful and amazingly cold....

I had clean forgot about this until Jillers sent it through. It was uploaded way back in 2007, going back a bit now. I can’t help but laugh at our stupidity but hey you don’t get anywhere without risk… And the finished result..

A tale of hostel living while working. Fun times.
Snow is still a novelty to me. Yesterday everything was white, the snow was falling and the sun was out so I went for a walk to take photos. I had no intention of making a video but as I had captured some clips while I was out I decided to quickly put something together....

Its catch up time. This entry was partly written on the road, partly after the fact so there is potential for it to be disjointed, so I apologise. After getting off the train at Da Nang and stretching our legs, we caught a cab to the nearest bus stop which would take us through to Hoi...
Apologies for the delay – its been hard to get anything written and posted while in Vietnam. I’m in London now so the next few posts shouldn’t be too far between. On our third day in Saigon, we did a tour out to the Mekong Delta. This trip was via bus and was about 4...

After what appeared to be a panic stricken moment where I managed to somehow change the lock code on my bag, I finally have it open through a painstakingly slow method of trial and error. Well, I’m currently on a train from Saigon to Denang. I’m in an air-conditioned “hard sleeper” birth which has...

Well. We have arrived. After many months of planning then quitting my job and having a leaving party then moving to Brisbane then getting a job then quitting that job then having a leaving party then leaving then getting to Melbourne and having another leaving party, its finally happened. The last few days in Melbourne...
In what can only be described as unbelievable, a massive storm decided to pummel Melbourne in submission a few weeks ago. The streets flooded, the trees were shredded and everyone generally lost the ability to drive or act in a civil fashion. Mum and dad had just arrived in town to see me, having only been in...
